100 SQUARE METER INSTEAD OF 100 HECTARE
One tonne of protein per day – this is the production capacity that our customer NextProtein achieves with the separation technology of our TP15. Extracted from black soldier fly insect larvae, the raw material is approved by the EU as feed for aquaculture, poultry, pigs and pets. NextProtein generates on 100 square meters of larval breeding – based on organic waste – as much protein as others extract on about 100 hectares of soybean cultivation area. Reinartz separation technologies prevent resources and create efficient sustainability.
FOR A DECENTRALIZED, REGIONAL AND SUSTAINABLE PRODUCTION
Precision – hardly anything is more important. If the motor is perfectly aligned and locked in its place, the intended gap for the pellet disc is exactly two tenths of a millimeter. This guarantees the optimal and sustained operation of our AP 14/30 at its later destination, a farm in Canada. Where soya is grown and harvested, farmers will use our AP 14/30 to produce their own animal feed: 3.200 tons of high-quality protein pressing cakes, plus soy bean oil, every year. SUSTAINABLE AND ECONOMICAL: REINARTZ MAKES IT HAPPEN
A research project on the recycling of MDF boards shows that sustainability and efficiency can work hand in hand. Involved in this project is our screw press model MST 04 used for mechanical pressing of pieces of compressed wood free of glue. The result: dry wood fibres usable for manufacturing new MDF boards and furniture! It’s great that once again we contributed to getting a sustainable value-added cycle going.

Qualité, Fabrication, Progrès – our service-team has commissioned another pressing plant including the adaptation of the existing filtration plant in France. The result: one more satisfied REINARTZ customer. Processing capacity of his plant doubled to approx. 1,800 kilograms per hour. Soya from local cultivation is processed to high-quality press cake and first-class oil used as animal feed. Performance á la REINARTZ!

NEW BUSINESS MODEL WITH BIOMASS
We make sustainability profitable. So far, the pineapple stems and leaves have been left unused on the plantations in Costa Rica: an ideal breeding ground for mosquitoes with fatal consequences for agriculture. Cows were so stressed by the plague of mosquitos that they thinned and gave only a little milk. Calves died, only a few were born.
Thanks to the REINARTZ separation process, the remnants of the pineapple harvest are made economically usable, among others by pressing the biomass on site in Limón. The plant is about to be completed in our production facility in Neuss. As part of a promising project funded by KFW DEG, press juice and press cake will be produced from the pineapple stems and leaves – after delivery and installation of the plant – and as such can be used as fertilizer for recultivation of the usable area and as animal feed. Clothes are made from the fibers of the pineapple leaves. New jobs are created. Thanks to REINARTZ, biomass becomes a sustainable resource!
